The Department of Computer Science & Engineering (Artificial Intelligence) at VIT aims to be one of the leading programs that provide value-added quality education. The Department is prepared to meet the challenges and is playing a leadership role in shaping the education of the 21st Century by providing unique educational and research opportunities in the forefront of Computer Engineering and its applications. The Department, established in the year 2022, offers a UG programme. The students focus on the conceptual understanding of core domain areas in computing and enhanced programming skills that disseminate their analytical abilities. The Department caters to the overall development of students by providing a conducive environment for academics, research, strong industry connections, state-of-the-art curriculum, modern infrastructure, and activities for co-curricular/extra-curricular development.

The Department is committed to nurturing well-rounded individuals with technical expertise, strong ethical values, effective communication skills, and leadership qualities. As a department, we envision forging robust collaborations with industry leaders, research institutions, and academia at the national and international levels. The Department is committed to providing students with a world-class education to prepare them for success in their chosen careers. The Department offers an undergraduate program with an enrollment capacity of 120 students. Our dedicated and accomplished faculty members are self-motivated and possess exceptional skills and expertise.
