The Department of Computer Engineering has active research projects funded by the Science and Engineering Research Board (SERB) and SIGCHI. These projects are in Computer Security, Algorithms and Human-Computer Interaction (HCI).
The Department has received several grants from BCUD—Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU), AICTE—New Delhi, and the African Academy of Sciences.
Some projects have received international research funding from the USA, Africa, and Germany.
