TEAM VIT PUNE ACHIEVED WORLD RANK 2:
Vishwakarma Institute of Technology (VIT, Pune), a.k.a Veloce Racing (SAE Supra), is delighted to announce its ascent to Overall World Rank 2 in the Combustion category. This accolade directly results from our commanding performance at Formula Bharat in the past years. The world ranking list includes various prestigious colleges and universities worldwide, including Massachusetts Institute, Pennsylvania University, Purdue University, Florida University, Georgia Tech, IIT Madras, and many other notable institutions.
This was all possible with the support of the team members, Faculty, instructors, and Management, who recognized the talent and provided the team with the means of developing such skills. Many Congratulations Team Veloce Racing
Runners-up Team at the Fluid Power Challenge (FPC) 2024
We are proud to announce that Chaitanya Jadhav and Amit Adhav, TY Mechanical Engineering students have showcased their exceptional skills and knowledge in fluid power systems, earning the prestigious Runners-up title in the quiz organized by the Fluid Power Society of India (FPSI). Their achievement reflects dedication, innovation, and a passion for learning in hydraulics and pneumatics. Well done, team!

SAE Aeromodeling team Griffin India of VIT won two awards and a cash prize of Rs.20000/- in a competition organised by SAE INDIA at Chennai from 21st to 23rd July 2023.
- Secured All India Rank 3 in the ‘Micro Class’ category
- Second place in Best Design Report in the ‘Micro Class’ category
Team Veloce Racing, under SAE Collegiate Club at the Mechanical Engineering Department of VIT Pune, participated in the Formula Bharat 2023 Car Racing competition from January 19 to 24, 2023, at Kari Motor Speedway, Coimbatore, and the team won the following awards.
