Invitation for Graduation Ceremony Undergraduate Students (B. Tech.)

Dear Students,

It gives me immense pleasure to inform you that Graduation Ceremony of 2014-15 batch of Undergraduate student (B. Tech.) of Vishwakarma Institute of Technology will be held on Saturday, 2nd April 2016, 6-30 p.m. onwards in the Sharad Arena (Auditorium).

Kindly note the following:

1. Dress Code: Girls and Boys Students are requested to wear white Salvar and Kurta with Kolhapuri Chappal.

2. B. Tech. Degree certificates and consolidated statement of grades will be distributed to the students in their respective departments from 3.00 a.m. to 5.30 p.m.

3. The students who wish to receive the degree during the formal ceremony are required to collect the degree certificates before 5.30 p.m. and give their willingness for the same. Such students are required to be seated in the Sharad Arena by 5.45 p.m. as per the seating arrangement meant for them.

4. Degree certificates will be issued only against the convocation fee receipt of University of Pune and valid identity proof.

5. Please note that the degree certificate will be issued to the concerned student in person only and in absentia, the same can be collected from Examination Section of the Institute from 3rd April to 9th April 2016 onwards upon production of relevant document and authority letter. As per the instruction of the University the undistributed degree certificates will be returned back to the University on 11th April 2016.

6. All the students are requested to be seated in Auditorium before 6-00 p.m. Entry will not be allowed after 6-00 p.m. to maintain the decorum of the ceremony.

7. The Uttariya will be distributed to the students in the respective Department. It is to be worn throughout the function.

8. The convocation robes will be available in the department concerned and the student can use them for photograph purpose.

9. The students are requested to refrain for any activity which will spoil the sanctity of the ceremony and also follow discipline during throughout ceremony.
